Welcome to Heartlands Academy in Birmingham! As the newly appointed headteacher, I am honoured to lead a dynamic and diverse community of learners, dedicated staff, and supportive families. Our academy’s mission “A place to empower dreams!” is to provide an outstanding education that inspires and empowers our students to reach their full potential.
I was born and raised in Wolverhampton and moved to Birmingham over 25 years ago. I have worked as a senior leader in a range of schools and academies across the West Midlands for over 15 years. It is a privilege and a pleasure to lead an academy in my hometown and contribute to the success of the young people in the academy. I am passionate about education and believe that all young people deserve an outstanding education so that they can fulfil their potential and make valuable contributions to their community.
